Hi everyone!
It’s a windy day here at Jellycollector HQ, so I wanted to post up my latest Jellycat arrivals from the 25th Anniversary range.
Meet Jellycat Jack and Fergus Frog!
Ever since I saw these two announced, I had to have them!
Jellycat Jack has been an absolute must-have Jellycat for me. I’m a bit of a cat-lover, so the chance to get THE Jellycat was not to be missed!
This is the medium (smallest) size of Jellycat Jack. He was also released in a huge and really big size but the medium size is the perfect size for me.
Just look at his little face!…
I love the way he sits up with his little feet up in the air! Jellycat have got him spot-on with his appearance.
I wasn’t sure about his fur at first when I saw pictures online and he looked a little bit scruffy, but actually his fur is quite silky and soft and I just love him!
Of course, he wears his signature, bright orange jelly hat too!
He features a special “25 Years of Jellycat London” hang tag, with the number “25” stylised with cat ears, the jelly hat and a cat tail.
The other side of the hang tag has Jellycat Jack’s face poking out from the left hand side.

Now, let’s take a look at Fergus…
How adorable is this little amphibian?!
Fergus was first released back in 2021 and wasn’t hugely popular, therefore retired quickly. However, after his retirement, his popularity soared and he became highly sought after!
I never became the owner of an original Fergus, so when Jellycat announced that he would be re-released as part of their 25th Anniversary, I jumped at the chance to own him!
Before he was re-released, I wasn’t sure if I’d love him in the flesh as all I’d seen were photos online of him. I thought that maybe I only wanted him because of the hype around him. However, when I spotted him in a Cardzone shop along with Jellycat Jack, I ran in and fell in love immediately!
I love his grumpy, soulful expression and how posable he is! I love that you can fold his arms and make him look even more grumpy like the picture above.
The original Fergus had chin wrinkles, which Jellycat have removed with this latest version, but he still looks rather charming.
He has the special Jellycat Heritage Collection hang tag pictured below.

My thoughts…
I’m so glad that I found this pair. I initially wasn’t sure I’d fall in love with Fergus, but I was totally wrong.
I wish he had chin wrinkles, as I think that makes him look just that little bit more grumpy, but its not a deal-breaker and he still looks lovely without them.
With Jellycat Jack, I’m so glad I managed to get him. As soon as I saw his little face in the shop window, I dived in to choose my favourite one!
His fur is much softer than I imagined it would be and has a sort of silky feel to it. I love the way his little feet look when he’s sitting too.
