Happy Valentine’s Day! – The Cutest Valentine’s Day Jellycats!

Tuesday, February 14th, 2023

Hi everyone!

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you’re having a fantastic day however you’re spending it!

Today, I will be highlighting some of the best (in my opinion) Jellycat plushies that are available this year!

There have been a few releases this year. Some are obviously Valentine’s themed and some are more subtle lovey-dovey Jellies. Below, I will show you some of my favourite Valentine’s Day Jellycats.

Blossom Heart Blush Bunny and Blossom Heart Tulip Bunny

Jellycat Blossom Heart Blush Bunny and Blossom Heart Tulip Bunny

These cute Blossom Blush Heart and Blossom Tulip Heart bunnies hold a floral heart that matches the pattern on their inner ears.

I think I slightly prefer the aqua and pink floral notes on the Blush Bunny but they are both beautiful!

The bunnies have only been released in the small 15cm size.

Alice Axolotl

Jellycat Alice Axolotl

Whilst she is technically not a Valentine’s Day Jellycat, Alice Axolotl’s hot pink colour is undeniably gorgeous for this time of year!

She was originally available in a medium 27cm size, but has recently been released in a smaller 17cm size.

Which size do you prefer?

Amuseable Tulip

Jellycat Amuseable TulipAmuseable Tulip was actually released back in 2020. However, it is still available today and would make a lovely Valentine’s Day gift for a Jellycat collector!

I’m a huge fan of the Amuseable range. They’re just so quirky and random that I love them! I especially think the plants are great if you don’t have the time or energy for the upkeep of real plants or flowers.

Amuseable Hot Pink Heart

Jellycat Amuseable Hot Pink Heart

What could be better than your very own heart to cuddle?!

I had a hard time deciding whether to put the Hot Pink Heart here or the similar Amuseable Red Heart as they are both cute. In the end, I ever-so-slightly preferred the colour of the Hot Pink Heart.

The Amuseable Hot Pink Heart was released in a small and large size.

Love-Me Lobster

Jellycat Love-Me Lobster

Love-Me Lobster is so adorable that I had to include him here!

Both his tail and claws are shaped just like love hearts and his cute little black eyes are too hard to resist! He looks like he’s just asking for a cuddle!

And finally…

A Pair of Lovely Lovebirds

Jellycat A Pair of Lovely LovebirdsWhat could be better than two Jellycats in one!

A Pair of Lovely Lovebirds is exactly that! This set of two lovebirds are too cute for words. One is yellow with a red head and the other is green with an orange head. There is a lot of attention to detail on this pair as well with the two-tone beak, white ring around the eyes and colourful wing-tips!

Aren’t they adorable!

What is my Jellycat worth?

Tuesday, November 30th, 2021

UPDATED FOR WINTER 2021

If you’ve made it here, there’s a good chance that you’re wanting to find out the value of a Jellycat plush you have. To try and help out, I’ve written this handy guide.

It can be quite difficult to find out the price of an untagged Jellycat, especially if it’s a vintage one that isn’t very well known. This guide is best for those who either have a tagged Jellycat or if you definitely know the name of it.

If you know the name of the Jellycat you want to price, then proceed to read the next steps in this guide.

The links below are affiliate links. If you purchase something by clicking through one of the links below, we may receive a small commission. This doesn’t cost you anything additional and helps to fund this site.

I’ve found that the best place to price a Jellycat is on eBay. I will base this guide on the UK market, but if you are based in the USA, the same procedures can be used using eBay.com.

To start, head over to eBay. You will find the following page, pictured below.

eBayWhen the page has loaded, go to the search bar, entitled “Search for anything”, and type the name of the  Jellycat you want to price. For example, I will search for a “Sherbet Bashful Bunny” (highlighted in red).

You should find a page that looks a little bit like the one pictured below.

This won’t show you the value as such, only the price that people have listed for. A seller can list whatever price they want for anything, but the value is only as much as a buyer is willing to pay for that item. To get the true value, you will want to filter the results so you only see sold items.

Scroll down the page until you see a section on the left hand side titled Show Only. Tick the checkbox called Sold items. This will also automatically select Completed items. This is no problem as we want to see the completed sales (sales that were actually paid for).

When the page has loaded with your filtered results, you will want to filter the results further by sorting from the lowest price. Click on the drop-down box that currently says Ended recently and change it to Lowest price + P&P.

Below are some of the results we get back (as of 30th November 2021).

As you can see, they start at just over £47.

And a few more…

A lot depends on the size and condition of the Jellycat. For example, a medium Sherbet Bashful Bunny ranges from about £50 up to about £90. The £50 medium Sherbet bunny was in poor condition with no tags and the £90 bunny was BNWT (Brand New With Tags).

The best thing to do is to search for your Jellycat and using the guide above, filter the results, then find a Jellycat that most accurately fits with the condition of the one you are trying to price.

I hope you find this guide helpful in trying to find the value of your Jellycat/Bashful Bunnies.

Dressed Bashful Bunnies section complete!

Thursday, May 6th, 2021

Hi guys!

I’m happy to say that I have completed the Dressed Bashful Bunnies section of the website!

I have decided to give them their own category, as well as include them in the main Bashful Bunnies area to make it easier to find them.

Now I’ve completed the Special Edition Bunnies, “normal” Bashful Bunnies and Clothed Bunnies areas of the database, I am now going to be mainly focusing on the animal Bashfuls next, but if there is anything specific that you want me to add, please feel free to contact me and I will try and add it to the website for you. I am aiming to try and make Jelly Collector the biggest checklist of Jellycats for collectors to use to keep track of their personal collection, so it makes sense to add any that you own that are missing from the site.

At this current moment, I still have no Jellymail arriving (nooo!). I have bought way too many lately, so I need a short break from buying full price Jellies. However, I did go Jelly-hunting at the weekend in the local charity shops and for bargains in TK Maxx. Sadly, none of them had any Jellies and TK Maxx was bare. Fingers crossed I’ll have better luck next time!

Enjoy the rest of the week and have a fab weekend!

Checklist of Bashful Bunnies complete!

Thursday, April 29th, 2021

Hi guys!

I have some important news for you…the “normal” Bashful Bunnies section of the database is now complete! You can now track your bunny collection using our full list of Bashful Bunnies, and if you’re looking for a particular colour of bunny, you can filter the results to only include, for example, all the blue bunnies.

If I have missed any out, please let me know and I’ll add them in for you.

I still have to add the outfit-wearing bunnies, so that is my next task. I am always happy to add requests to help you with tracking your collection, so if there are any you would like to see on the database, please get in touch!

At this current moment, I don’t have any Jellymail on the way (booo!), although I do have a few on my wishlist, including Paprika Dragon, Olive Dragon and for some reason, I have decided I NEED a Geek Cat in my life.

Have fun using our checklist for your Bashful Bunny collection, and the “dressed bunnies” will be added shortly.

Latest news and Jellymail Update

Tuesday, April 13th, 2021

Hi guys!

It’s a lovely sunny day here today at Jelly Collector HQ!

Today I’ve been trying to add more Bashful Bunnies to the database as I want to complete the list as soon as possible!

I have also received more Jellymail since my last post. I entered a raffle on Facebook and to my surprise, I won! I’m so happy as I never win anything! The prize was the gorgeous Whitney Chicken!

Whitney was actually bigger than I thought she’d be and she is sooo lovely and soft! I love her sleepy expression which gives her character.

Whitney arrived along with a couple of other Jellies I had ordered. These were a medium Cottontail bunny and a medium Bashful Dragon.

The Cottontail bunny was actually for my daughter and she loved him. Well, he is very soft and cuddly!

I have always wanted a Bashful Dragon as I thought he looked adorable!

I love his tiny horns and wings that look like there is no way he’d ever be able to use them to fly. It just all adds to his cuteness!

Although afterwards I felt like he needed a friend, so I got him a little buddy….a small Bashful Dragon!

How cute is this little guy?!

The two dragons now look complete….until I decide I need a huge dragon….

Along with the small dragon, I also ordered a small Peony bunny.

I loved the colour of the Peony bunny because it has a pink and white two-tone effect rather than a solid colour. She has recently retired as well, so I decided to get her while I still can before she sky-rockets in price like other retired bunnies.

Anyway, that’s all my Jellymail so far. I haven’t got any more order at the moment, but I’m currently loving dragons and I’ve got my eye on a Lallagie Dragon, so I’m trying to hard not to get him as I’ve bought way too many Jellies recently!

If anyone wants to share what Jellymail they’ve received recently, leave a comment below!

More Bunnies added to the database!

Tuesday, April 6th, 2021

Hi guys!

I hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter. It’s freeeeezing at the moment at Jelly Collector HQ! I’ve even seen a few flakes of snow falling!

Today, I’ve been busy (with some help from Crispin) adding more Bashful Bunnies to the Jelly Collector database.

We haven’t got many bunnies to add now. When I’ve finished, I’ll make a start on some of the other Jellycats. If you have a Jellycat that isn’t on the database yet, please get in touch and I’ll try and add it for you. I’m regularly adding new Jellies to the website, but I’m always happy to try and add in requests.

All the Special Edition bunnies are now on the website, as are the Winter/Christmas 2021 Jellycats for you to check out. Please let me know in the comments below if I’ve missed any.

My own collection of bunnies is growing, and I’ve got my eye on a few more that I want/need. I also have some Jellymail on the way, so I’ll post that up when it arrives.

For the moment, me and Crispin are taking a tea break. It’s a cold day and he needs to warm his claws up.

Hope you have a lovely day!

Jellymail Alert!

Tuesday, March 30th, 2021

Hi everyone!

Hope you’re all having a lovely day!

Today is a lovely, sunny Tuesday here, so I thought I’d show you my most recent Jellymail!

They actually arrived on Saturday morning (very fast delivery from JALS), but I’ve only just had the chance to post them up! Here they all are pictured below.

This time I ordered a Small Cassis Bunny, Small Cottontail Bunny, Small Twinkle Bunny, Small Dusky Blue Bunny, Small Amuseable Avocado and Little Sage Dragon. I’m absolutely in love with them all!

Especially that little avocado. He’s so cute, I could eat him!…(just kidding).

At the moment, I am only collecting the small bunnies for space reasons, but I’m thinking of getting at least one medium in the future (although, that could be dangerous as I may want to get more…)

I have now got all my little bunnies in a little tray I bought from B&M for £1. They look so cute together, just chilling out…

They seem to be multiplying by the day and I am running out of room in this tray now!

Also, Twinkle and Stardust are now reunited after being apart for so long…

Now I just need a Sparklet Bunny to go with them both when she’s released later this year…

Little Sage Dragon is so cute that I think he now needs Little Snow Dragon and Little Dexter (and later, Little Onyx Dragon) to keep him company!

I have more Jellymail arriving soon to join these guys, but I’ll leave that for another day.

I have also finished adding the Winter/Christmas 2021 Jellies to the database if you want to check them out. I am sooo looking forward to them, although I kind of wished they had released the information later as now we have to wait nearly half a year for them!

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, and stay safe!

My latest Jellymail!

Thursday, March 11th, 2021

Hi everyone!

This post is a little bit delayed as I’ve only just had the chance to post it up, but I’m so excited to show you my latest Jellymail!

I received this lovely little collection from JALS (Just a Little Something) who are absolutely fantastic! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

From the back (left to right) is Small Forest, Small Cerise, Small Cream Blossom, Small Plum and Crispin Crab.

I decided to buy four bunnies and Crispin Crab (which started off as me telling myself I was only going to buy three bunnies and Crispin, but I couldn’t resist an extra bunny! Oops!).

I have now put them with some of my other small Jellies in a little tray that I picked up from B&M for the bargain price of £1 (for those of you outside of the UK, B&M is a store that sells all sorts of things from homeware to food for a reasonable price. You can seriously spend a fortune in there if you’re not careful).

Here they are all together with my Small Cinnamon, Small Saffron, Small Stardust and Small Bashful Black and White Kitten – not forgetting Flo, my Small Beige bunny.

I’m thinking that I need a red bunny next (I’m thinking maybe a Small Cassis?) to add to my little rainbow consortium.

I have also been busy today adding some more Bashful Bunnies into the database for you to track if you have them in your collection. As I said in my last post, I have also now finished the Special Edition Bashful Bunnies, which I have given their own section.

Are you expecting any Jellymail? Or have you just received some? Share with us in the comments section below!

List of Special Edition Bashful Bunnies Complete!

Friday, March 5th, 2021

Hi everyone!

I’m really excited to announce that all the Special Edition Bashful Bunnies are now on the database!

The Special Editions are now, sadly, all retired. They all had lovely names and were made in pretty colours and fabrics.

The Special Edition bunnies were sized somewhere in between small and medium “regular” bashful bunnies (approximately 23cm).

I currently don’t own any Special Edition bunnies, but they are on my wish list (if I can ever get hold of them!). Here are a few of my favourites.

Imogen

Imogen is made from a luxurious, pink, curly fur that just looks adorable! Her fur just looks so soft and floofy! One day I hope to have her in my collection!

Lucie

Lucie is a gorgeous grey colour, covered in pretty, bright pink patches! The pattern in her fur is almost like giraffe print!

Natalia

Natalia is a little different in that she is made from a knitted fabric. She is covered from head to toe in rainbow stripes and because she doesn’t have longer pile of fur like most other bunnies, you can really see her cute little smile!

Jamie

Jamie is quite possibly one of the Special Editions I most want in my collection. The colour of his fur is absolutely gorgeous! The texture just looks amazing too!

Emily

Emily is a gorgeous, rose-red colour and her fur has a luxurious, crumpled effect. I’m quite biased with this one as she shares my daughter’s name! She is a beautiful bunny though!

Ideally, I would love all the Special Edition bunnies, but these five are top on my list!

Do you have any Special Editions? Who would be in your wish list? Leave a comment below!
